Painting # 103. This is the first painting that I made in 6 months. The last painting project I had completed was the animals trio I made for our baby's room. It was difficult to push myself to set everything up again and paint but, much like ripping off a bandaid, I'm really glad I did it. Considering I've been dormant for half a year, I think this came out okay. I wanted to paint something simple and similar to what I've made previously in order for this to run smoothly. I also recently purchased new Ross brushes and was shocked by how used my brushes were. I have a few other projects in the works so I hope that I'll be able to find the time moving forward. The name was taken from the music track that plays in the forest in the SNES game Chrono Trigger. Good to be back! 18x24 on a high quality canvas.

I totally can hear the Chrono Trigger OST. Glad you are back to painting, I know the feeling as I also took an extended break, but it’s really like riding a bike.
