16"x12". 2nd painting. I tried to work on a few issues I had with my 1st, namely getting more pronounced white in the clouds, clearer water reflections and more dark in the foreground trees. I could've used a bit more contrast still, but I feel I achieved those goals. But it brought in new frustrations: the mountain shape is unsatisfying, the foothill composition doesn't look good, and the right side pines branches are clearly 2" brush splotches. Next time, I'll put care into shaping the branches better and working overall composition.
