Blue Winter

RKGal 31 Jan 2019

Made with cheap value box paint. Unfortunately, I grabbed acrylic instead of oil, so the wet on wet technique was challenging; Acrylic dries so fast! I need to work on height of reflections, knife work, and where the trees begin/end. And I've never gotten the fan brush thing down! it's so challenging! But overall, I had fun and am pleased with my painting.

I think the different texture of acrylics work great for this type of winter paintings. Some great textures and depths in this one.

Awesome texture on the mountains! I think the placement isn't too bad, just need to work on the transition a little but more. Overall still a fantastic painting

Still a great result by using acrylic.
