I feel like I'm struggling to paint the highlights. Can't get the old 2" brush to form the chiseled edge.. Maybe I need so.e different brushes.

I struggled with that too, then I loaded a lot more paint on the brush and it gave me a lovely chiseled edge. I found it better using the 1 inch brush but that's just me. Lovely shade of purple you got there.
