I always wanted to try one of the gesso prepared paintings and this seemed like a fun one to start with. It seemed a lot harder to pull the color across the black canvas instead of one with liquid white, and to get the dark colors to stand out without dropping in highlights. Any tips on getting the curtains to spread more without liquid clear?
