MY 100th UPLOAD! π¨ I wanted to try and animal stencil, and it seemed appropriate for #100. The canvas size is 9x12 and the bear is about 5x7. The background is white but looks tan on here?? There was some bleeding of color at the edges (cheap contact paper) but I left some that way since it looks like fur. (Happy accident!) I sure am glad I have some small brushes for my pet portraits, because this is a tiny painting! Obviously I made some adjustments to the composition because of the size, but the northern lights are still the star of the painting. The white grasses and the lake at the bottom look like my bear is wearing snow boots once I removed the stencil. π€£
Thank you Pietro!
Congratulations, nice Northernlightbear!
Congratulations on #100! Fantastic "lights" and mountain too! I need to redo this one sometime. It was my very first mountain I ever did. I've got a few more mountains under my belt now π
Thanks a bunch Jos and Matt!
Pam, I love this! I told my wife about 2 weeks ago I was going to do a smoky mountain scenery inside a bear silhouette. Your mountain and the aurora borealis is great!!!!
Thanks Joseph - Can't wait to see yours!
We need to get together and paint some time. We arenβt that far away.
That would be fun - I usually only paint with my dogs and Bob haha! And maybe your daughter can paint as well? My email is pamlovespainting@gmail.com.
Great job Pam ! I like his snow boots too, I guess even a bears feet can get cold that far North!
LOL thanks Brian!
Really beautiful job! Love the silhouette and Northern lights.
Thanks Sandy!
