I wanted to practice some mountains, and I like this one from Dana Jester. He created a lovely scene with just a few colors. I think as of now I always take Prussian blue for the sky. This one was made with phtalo blue and I don’t like it. Maybe my acrylic phtalo isn’t the right one. Else I made a few mistakes (e.g. too dark background) but other parts are ok. I am not sure what others think but in my opinion the mountain is ok. I just painted a few ones before.
oh, I actually find the bright intensity of the sky quite refreshing. Particularly how its reflected in the mountain shadow. Nice work!
Thanks for the feedback Sunnylady and Dracula. Maybe it’s my personal preference for prussian blue, in my opinion it makes a more realistic skycolor - in case you mix it with sufficient white. Thanks sunnylady for the hint with the ultramarine, I will try this.

This is link to similar sky.
Add touch of brown to the above mentioned colors to dull them a bit. It bring a bit of realism.
This is a very nice sky color, thanks for sharing it. Adding brown is a nice idea and an other option. Thanks for all the hints Sunnylady.
I just found this google art, I did not know it existed and they have incredible amount of paintings there. All my morning I was surfing art museums through that feature and could not help sharing one with you.
No mistakes there Tom, just another great painting from you!
Thanks Voy Kay! I am pleased that you like this one.
@Sunnylady: to me the existence of "Google Art" is also totally new. I think I will also check it closer in the future.
Very nice work! The bottom of the evergreen tree is too clear, so if you add a little white to give it a haze, I think it will be much better.
Thank You Jin7, A good hint, I also thought about changing this with a bit of white.
The bushes are very pretty. I like your little branches.
Thanks Kaysteeze. I use a number 1 Script Liner Brush for the tree branches painted with acrylics. This works much better than the number 2 for me.

It is great painting.
It looks like proper phtalo blue in the sky.
Try to mix ultramarine and phtalo blue and white. It will be better than just prussian blue.
Suggestion for the one of the next paintings.
