Tranquil Dawn

Tranquil Dawn

9th oil painting. Painted on 30 x 40 cm canvas. I think this size is already too small for using Bobs equipment, but it was the only one left. The liner brush work is getting much better with oils now. I still need to practice with the knife. Somehow I currently like to paint winter scenes ๐Ÿ˜‚. Maybe in winter I will do summer ones.

Thanks Sunnylady! I practiced liner brush work for oils and I think it helped to improve. Recently it got a bit quiet in the community. Thanks for your feedback!

I noticed it too. It got a bit quiet. I guess this is also that countries are opening after first wave and people are getting busier.

This is stunning! Great job with it. Your trees look so realistic, could be a photograph!

Thank you @doggymommee8301.
@Sunnylady: Maybe this is also related to summertime :)

Really nice painting. The liner brush work is indeed great. I also really like those evergreens. Good work!

Thank you lightsnow.

The background trees , the evergreen trees in the foreground and texture of big tree are all wonderful. It's really amazing that you can paint such a beautiful painting with less experience!

Thanks a lot Jin. I donโ€™t know why but I am feeling quite comfortable with oils right from the beginning. I hope I can improve the knife work.
