Winter's Grace

Tom0779 13 May 2021

13th oil painting. My first Bob Ross oil painting since August 2020. I choose this because I think it is relatively easy and thus well for getting back to Oils. I only painted with watercolors recently and it was a tough way to get back to oils and to non synthetic brushes. I felt almost everything went wrong here. I forgot how to paint evergreens. The result seems to be okay though.

This is an excellent painting after such long dry period Tom! Great distance created in the painting and the harmony between all those soft colours is well maintained!
Evergreens are VERY fine and look realistic, never worries there!

One to be proud of, friend Tom!

The evergreens turned out great. Nice painting.

I agree with Voy, the atmospheric perspective is just superb!

Wow. Beautiful and quiet. Great distance.

Thank you for all your feedback. I think a few more oil paintings will follow this year.
