Original Creation

Abugashima islands and Tateyama Mountain Range

Jin7 31 May 2020

The third attempt at the Tateyama mountain range. At this time,I dind't know the shape of the mountain excactly and the lower part could not be painted accurately, but when I noticed it since the
work was fixed by putting it in the frame, I cannot by removing it from the frame. When I first drew this mountain. I didn't know where to draw because the shape was too complicated. People who saw the real thing had a good reputation, but it's a shame because the light reflects like this photo.

The distance created is awesome, just like the reflection in the water. And those mountains looks stunning again Jin, never worries there!!

Dear Voy Your comments always inspire me. Thank you very much.
I am very glad that your Fantasy Crossing is very popular among the people.

In fact Jin, I am loudly thinking about a second one, in the same atmosphere and spirit. It will not be soon, but I am inspired to do a second.
Stay safe my friend, and til next one!!

Mountains are awesome no matter even if the shape is slightly off! That's a such minor thing comparing to the way you executed it!

Dear Sunnylady
Thank you for your comment.
I think most Japanese will not notice this slight difference, but some locals are very noisy and complain that they are a little different in shape.
A local painter who teaches oil painting tells the students not to paint Tateyama. It is difficult for even professionals to draw it well.

You paint such beautiful and realistic mountains!

Dear Froggie Thank you for your comment,
