Bird-eye view from the terrace

Jin7 11 Apr 2020

This is my first bird's-eye view painting attempt and I did it about four years ago.
This landscape is from Bessho-dake Yume Terrace on the Noto Satoyama Highway.
The bridge seen there is Notojima Ohashi.
Beyond the bridge are the inns at Wakura Onsen. (onsen means hot spring)
The majestic mountain towering above the clouds is the beautiful mountain Yakushidake at the southeastern end of the Tateyama Mountain Range.
I didn't draw a near site in this work. I didn't want to draw something that would be an obstacle because the main characters of this work are the mountains.
I had a little bit hard time to paint the bridge. I hope everyone enjoy my work.

What an awesome painting ABsolutely fantastic

Those mountains are amazing. I thought it was a photograph. 🤩

Dear MHK, Froggie Thank you both for your nice comments.
Even clumsy people like me can paint, so if you practice, you will surely be able to do.
Happy painting!

It's like I just opened a window! Bridge, shadowed trees, the mountains …. they all deserve a medal!!

Dear Voy Kay Thank you for your wonderful comment.

In fact Jin, I am ten times more/better a poet then a painter!

Beautiful mountains, just fabulous.

Dear TheLandscapePainter
Thank you for the compliment. I love this mountain.
