This beatiful mountain range is named Pir Panjal in Pakistan. This place is not famous though I love this magnificent view!
Fantastic mountains and mist! You are on a roll!
This is the first time I saw mist that Bob teaches us to do in foothills on the original photo. You did great job! I am going now to read about this mountain range.
@Voy @Dracula @Sunnylady Thank you for your nice comments.
When I intend to paint a real landscape , I make sketch it roughly
with pencils or charcoal ,after spray aerosol fixativeand to a canvas ,
about 15 minutes later.start by covering the entire canvaswith a thin coat of liquid White. Because real mountain range is really complicated.
Very nice one. Especially the mountains are just amazing!
@Tom0779 Thank you for your comment.
I used knife every highlights shadows used fanbrush scriptliner in detail.
What does the aerosol fixative do?
Charcoal can be erased by just wiping with the rug, pencil a bit harder. So you need to preserve your sketch on the canvas and fixative does the trick.
That makes sense, thank you!
No problems at all. I did some pencil drawings in the past and because to achieve good value chart you need to use 6B pencils for the darkest dark, it becomes tricky not to smudge everything and this is when I first got to know about fixative. I also heard it can be used to preserve water-color paintings, I think bob_ross_watercolors can say more about it.
@Sunnylady Thank you for explaination instead of me.
