Original Creation

Starry night

Jin7 10 May 2020

Sorry for the terrible photo again. It is a rare night view of the Tateyama mountain range.

Beautiful painting Jin. That green and blue and gray create an amazing dance of the Madame Night. To me this is best of your seas here. Mountains are mystic. There is depth here as you have trees on the right that push mountains back and perspective in the water. This is magical night.

Dear Sunnylady Thankyou for your nice comment.
Honestly I am surprised at your comment because I didn't think this work is so good.

I like that sea here has more shadows and more variety of colors. On the day pictures it is present less, also on many of the day pictures view is from the water. I am usually sea sick when on the boat in the sea that is why probably view from the water without the shore is very troubling to me and not pleasing. Even if the painting is perfectly done like all of your paintings.
Also day pictures are mostly blue, but remember when I said that after internet research I told you that Toteyama mountain range is incredibly difficult to paint and you are on very difficult mission.
I think night version is more artistic rather than realistic and it what brings all those emotions in my opinion.
But different people different opinions. Please take no offence. Your paintings are beautiful, but this one is more to my liking.

I didn't think this work was very good, but it's just my opinion. I am very grateful for your concern. Thank you Sunny Lady.

What is to my liking most is not only the stars in the sky, also the perspective where the observant is practically situated into the sea. The latter is really a very interesting POV! GOOD ONE JIN!!!!
