Colorful houses

Tom0779 13 Sep 2020

An other line and wash painting I recently did. It is Winsor an newton cold pressed A5 watercolor paper. I use Pigma Micron fine-liners with waterproof ink for the drawing, which is here needed a lot :)
I publish one of these paintings here to see if they wake some interest. Normally I just use very limited pallets for my watercolor paintings, this might be the most colorful I painted ever.

As you say, it's a colorful and gorgeous work . I am amazed and in awe of your passion for drawing so many works. Excellent work!

This is really nice. I particularly like the buildings' shadows!

This is beautiful. The colors, the composition, the perspective -- it's gorgeous. Well done!

Gorgeous painting! I think your love to barns grew a bit bigger. ;) what's your feeling about this week? It seems drawing part took at least 2 hours... and it's amazing.

@Jin7: Thank you, It is always a pleasure to hear from you. I have currently a flow in painting watercolors, they are not that time consuming and you don't need a lot of time for clean the equipment. Also I discovered this "line and wash" technique and I really like this.

@lightsnow: Than you very much. Regarding the shadows, that's the beauty (and the beast) of watercolors. As they are transparent you can easily create this effect.

@lauriev2782: Thanks a lot. I like to paint buildings, they are my favorite painting objects.

@Sunnylady: Thank you for your continued support. This was a very productive week regarding watercolor painting (I just posted a few but I think I created more than 10 this week). You know that I always like buildings :) In all shapes and sizes but I only post a few here. Regarding the drawing: You are very much right with the 2 hours, I think it was even a bit more. Painting wasn't very long then. I also painted a few very impressionistic scenes this week. Not sure if someone wants to see this. But I definitely continue the line and wash technique.
