I did this one a few days ago on A5 sized cold pressed watercolor paper from Canson. Normally I don't use a big amount of colors in my paintings. This may be one of the most colorful ones I did. Scene is painted after a YouTube tutorial for Line and wash technique. It shows one of my favorite objects: lonely little old buildings... :)
This is fantastic Tom!
@Voy: thanks. I like a touch of vintage in my watercolors. Bobs cabins/barns also had this old look and they always caught my attention. Maybe I am the only person who prefers his scenes with buildings instead of the mountain/evergreen ones :)
@Sunnylady: Thank you. I hope more similar ones will follow. I think this is the type of scenes I will follow on for longer...
This could easily be the outbuilding in the old farm house I grew up in! The house is now over 100 years old (and amazingly still standing and inhabited by my dad and his lady friend). My mom used to tie up laundry lines using the large tree and outbuilding. Even the green burn barrel would fit in! I really like this one, Tom.
Thanks doggymommee8301 for your continued support. Happy that you like the picture.

This is so vintage!
I mean, 50 to 100 years ago, people lived in such wooden buildings and hung their laundry out! I LOVE memories from that period!!
And ..... there's no watercolours' painting from Tom with power lines and/or singing whires!! 😁❤👍
