I painted this with acrylics on 24 x 30 cm canvas panel. It was painted after an episode of Bill Alexander. I painted it very free and fast. I like buildings and those damaged ones were real funny to do. Also I like skies with phtalo green. This one was an option to do so.
Awesome painting Tom! The old and half-destroyed houses look great! Sky blending is nice and smooth!
Thank you both. It was not my first painting I did after a show of Bill Alexander. The difference between him and Bob Ross is in my opinion that he doesn't explain all the details, like e.g. which colors he exactly mixes or how he loads which brush for different purposes. That makes it sometimes more challenging but on the other hand you make things more free.

Wow, that cabin is so perfect with great realism. Lovely color choices. I may have to try my hand at some Bill Alexander work. Well done!
