I have done this one yesterday evening. It is A5 sized cold Pressed watercolor paper. It is a very easy painting, done in line and wash technique using just yellow ochre.
I found this idea is quite effective and nice to do if you haven't got a lot of time.

A tsunami of thin lines! Die Amsel lieben es!

Thanks for your comment. You are speaking German Voy? Nice!

In fact, German is my fifth language (had four years of German in high school) and German is the third official language in Belgium. So yes, quite some Belgians speak German.
But I am FAR more comfortable with English (which is my fourth language!).

Wow, you are multilingual. This is impressive, I only speak English (mainly for my profession, very technical) and I had French in High School for four years. Unfortunately never used it afterwards, so I am not able to understand it now. I really saw that when I was in France two years ago :D

The (perhaps only) advantage of being Belgian is that we are obligated to learn a lot of languages since we are such small country AND we have three official languages (Dutch, French and German).
Myself, I speak, read and write six languages (German and Spanish only basic) and that was much wanted for my past job as a hotel and airplane inspector where I galloped the globe for almost 12 years!
626 flights, 550 hotels, 74 countries ..... but don't be too jealous since that was very hard work after all!

You've improved skill to draw tree branches.
As far as I can see, few people can draw branches well on this site. Practice pays off.

Thank you Jin, I think I improved painting overall. Especially this line and wash technique is clearly my favorite as it seems to fit really good for my style of painting. Nevertheless I have decided to share fewer works in the future even I paint mostly more than 10 pictures a week.

Wow! You're a really hard worker. I admire your effort.

Thank you Jin. It is an advantage of watercolor, that there is no time loss in cleaning the equipment. I have a watercolor box where I store and mix them - no cleaning required - and just a few brushes which you simply clean with water. It saves a lot of time.
