Industrial scenery 🏭

Tom0779 12 Oct 2020

I painted this one some days ago. I like to paint industry buildings. They give me a nice challenge. This one was done after a tutorial I found on Youtube, and even I could paint with the artist, it was very confusing to get all the details in. This is A5 sized cold pressed watercolor paper from Winsor and Newton. Technique used is line and wash, as usual.

Gosh André Franquin (mercy on his soul) would have been wild about this!!

I love the no nonsence and roundish drawing style of such lineair and square scenery. It makes this industrial complex more accessible to the viewer and creates an open, welcoming mood for the eye!

You're on a winning streak friend Tom!!

Thanks Voy, I feel honored to be compared with Franquin! Happy you like it.
@Felix: haha yeah that's true... Just to mention for the others... The Airport meant here is the Vienna Airport :)
