I painted this some days ago by following a YouTube tutorial. I am currently taking a break from painting but I have some scenes I posted not yet. It is line and wash on A5 sized cold pressed cellulose watercolor paper from Winsor & Newton.
I remember this was a bit a challenge to get the perspective right. I am not 100% happy with it but it is ok I think.
Thanks Voy. Yes the power lines are very popular for line and wash artists or urban sketchers. They are very easy to do and they give the painting some attraction. This is something I like to do, buildings and a bit nature.
I also like the Bob Ross paintings with buildings. You can imagine how it would be to live there :)
Tom, this is such an amazing painting! I love this line and wash technique and what you do with it!
Thank you Sunnylady.
I meant to say that your paintings let me love that technique.
Yeah, thatβs what I understood π. Thanks for your continued support Sunnylady.

No Tom-watercolours without power lines or singing wires! π
I like it, as this style attracts me. That grey sky makes the shy front colours come out better. It is great to see that you always impliment some nature in these creations, that really works to highlight any constructions!
Till next one Tom!
