Original Creation

Micro painting of a village

Tom0779 29 Sep 2020

Always trying out new things I found this idea of a micro sized painting in line and wash technique. The size is 2.0 x 2.5 cm (0.8 x 1.0 in). It has been made on a cold pressed watercolor paper. I have tried to put in as many details as I could. The whole painting was done with a Pigma Micron Pen, size 0.05 and a Nr. 1 script liner brush.
Can't find a place to put my signature in :)

Oh my, this is extra terrestrial activity!! I admire so much your creativity AND hand control. Excellent creation!!
I wish I could do it but my dominant has been parralized some 5 year ago and never recovered the 100%. Making thin lines and tiny objects very, very hard to paint for me.

Tom, you found the solution to any painters' main storage problem!!! LOL! ) :) :)

That's impressive Tom!
I don't know how you do all those tiny details.
I was impressed by the small ones you did in acrylics but this is Wow! I do not have words. This is highest technical level for me.

@Voy Kay: Thank you for the support. Trust me even I have no physical issues it is tough to keep the hand quiet here :) This is maybe an extreme idea but I think I do a few ones as I found other tutorials for these kind of paintings.
Storage: just a Stamp-Album would be enough for a lot of these paintings :P

@ Sunnylady: Well the fine liner 0.05 is extremely thin, you can work somehow on that format. As mentioned I create 2 or 3 others in micro format, just for my fun... Maybe I share them here too. The strange thing is, the painting really looks good only if you go a few cm away. Of course it is not an advantage to see it in that close up.
