Walk through the snow

Tom0779 14 Dec 2020

An other Christmas card painting by following a YouTube tutorial. The technique for the sky used here was a second wash over a dry first wash already. I am not totally happy how it turned out but this may be due to the watercolor paper used.
It is cold pressed watercolor paper in postcard format from Winsor & Newton. I am still struggling a lot with people. But I think they are a huge challenge for a hobby painter. I like skies with a green touch, that's why I took this on.

Oh gosh, I love this one!!
Again, I had to think immediatly of Andre Franquin, specially with the two characters in it!
That sky .... it's like part of the Northern lights has reached here. I witnessed Aurora once (from an airplane) and it was mostly greenish.

My compliments for this one Tom!! I am so jealous on who will receive this postcard!

Thanks Voy for your feedback. I said it before, to be compared with Franquin is really an honor for me.
@Felix: it is Nil Rocha I followed here, also the latest winter scenes are done after his videos.
