A mixture of Bill Alexanders 'To the Summit' and a photo I saw online with the same lightfall on the mountains, most of it was done with the pallet knife. On wallpaper of 29,7 x 21 cm (A4 format).
Really a beautiful painting! Details are fabulous!
Super well done, fantastic!
You nailed it! I scrolled and immediately said “not for nothing. That has a bill alexander vibe”. Read the description and boom! There it was! Fist bump!
Great job Jos, lovely painting. Great reflections and colors.
Thank you Dan, Sandy, Smellis, Gangi and Larry for your comments!
Your knife painting looks great Jos. Once you make friends with the knife it gets so much better doesn't it. Beautiful reflections.
Thank you Helen; I'm not always friends with my knife and I still use a different one then Bobs, but what suprises me is that I like my evergreens done with the knife more then those coming out of my fanbrush!
Nice work on this. The reflections are beautiful. You even got the clouds in there.
Thank you KJay, yes indeed, I tried to reflect the clouds too, thanks for remarking.

Jos, what a great painting! I love the mountain colors and the reflections are fantastic. I watched that episode of ‘To the Summit’ and can see how the reflections were made. You did an excellent job on them. Well done!
