Felix , how about a " post your proudest" event?... Simply post the painting that you feel most proud of?
This can be done with OR without a "vote your favourite" facility and might be a lot of fun as well as allowing us all to enjoy seeing all those fabulous paintings?
I often go through my collection and recall the satisfaction i felt after completion of a painting, you worked hard at it so you should feel pride without shame

So ten days have passed since this idea was approved, Felix wake up and save your dying forum by injecting a little bit of enthusiasm for it, i tried and failed ....it's over to you and if you don't have time why not pass the reigns?
Such a shame and i can't be the only person who is growing increasingly bored and frustrated by the total lack of any activity around here!

Hey tel. I'm most proud of my Sunny Morning by Viktor Yushkevich and its the one I enjoyed the most also. I had no video to speak of since he works in acrylic and I work in oil. I pretty much copied it from a screenshot of his finished painting and I did it Bob style but included a lot of detail work of my own. I'm proud of the way it looks and also overcoming barriers to actually get it down on canvas, mainly painting from a picture, unravelling the layers to get them in the right order and also all the detail work with small brushes, something Bob doesn't do. That would be my submission. Which one of your works are you most proud of and why?

Is this into an event yet? I have a painting I’m most proud of, it’s my first oil painting ever! I re create the painting of the two fishes by Monet. I was totally surprised how good I did on it! It will be always my favorite!!
Chinuchichi I'm hoping it will be as we learn a lot from each other, observation and discussion seems to be the key. I've often found members paintings inspiring. I'm still thinking about the current event but haven't got my act together yet, it's an unusual one.
