What other hobbies are you keeping up currently besides painting like bob ross. I have been putting time into miniature doll house, flower plantations and reading. Im happy but sometimes feel stressed keeping up with all of them.

    I've been an avid crafter for decades and I've dabbled in all sorts. Building dolls houses and making miniature furniture filled a lot of time. A word of warning it's utterly addictive and you can spend a fortune on it, spend all your time on it, and fill your home with it. I only paint now. Crafting is good for stress, the one that works best for me is painting. It's very relaxing especially when combined with listening to music. I'd recommend losing one of your hobbies if they are stressing you.

    I know miniatures are so addictive and it’s just so amazing little world , I love it! I do retrain myself a lot when it comes to buy stuff for miniature building, I only buy one kit at a time, and finish it before I buy another. I usually watch golden girls while painting with Bob, it’s just a double dosage of calm for me. For some reason when even I paint with GG in the back ground my paintings come out really well! It’s like a little superstition I have lol. I did actually gave up crocheting, I was not that good at it anyways and I felt it took so much efforts to do that, omg hours spent to make a little amigurumi, exhausting!

      Chinuchichi I can relate to that. My obsession with miniature started with a kit I received for my birthday, it quickly turned into an obsession that lasted years. The reason your paintings come out better when you listen to something is because of the distraction, you are more relaxed so you paint more freely. My best painting I did while having a long phone conversation with my sister, I couldn't believe how well it turned out without seemingly not putting much thought into it. Happy painting.

        Painting is my first hobby but i love movies and will watch at least one (often two) every evening.
        I also enjoy listening to prog/ classic rock and compiling playlists on Spotify, so basically anything that doesn't require me to leave my armchair.🤣🤣
        Gardening is also another interest but i have to be feeling particularly energetic.
