Tel, I commented on all these posts because I saw your message to Felix and felt you were right and I was just as guilty as the next. I felt that to do my part round here, to keep things human, I restarted these conversations.
NY islanders are professional ice hockey team in from (you guessed it) New York. My wife introduced me to the sport of hockey and I loved the speed and grit. And seeing the fist fights break on ice keeps things a little fun and spicy.
i played a few gigs here and there when I was in my 20s. Not to much now. Adult hood sure has a way of taking time and energy from people. Also, while I had fun, compared to how painting has made me feel since I started it, I realize now that I wasn’t as into music as I thought I was. Painting brings me so much more happiness and excitement than anything I ever picked up in my youth.
I think I read somewhere that someone can only have 3 things in life when an adult, and I totally agree
