@tel i found another cause today, i hope it stays faster now.

in laymen's terms: there were some updates on the technology I'm using for the website that changed how some internal things are handled that is outside of my control. To get it to a usable speed again i removed these things, and I will probably have to do some complete rewrites of parts of the website soon to be able to display them again.
