I personally can handle criticism. Only there is hardly any constructive criticism in the comments. When I see when I started painting and where I stand now, (and I'm just someone who enjoys painting his ideas in oil and by far from a top candidate) it's a satisfaction with the progress but I think you can always learn or improve something. In my opinion, this is also how constructive criticism should be dealt with. Make the most of it and decide for yourself and you can use them or want to implement them. Allow a different point of view and see if your own thoughts can be traced on the other side. Some just want confirmation and that's completely legitimate, if it's enough. On the other hand, it doesn't bring anyone forward. I am well aware that criticism of some people acts like a flaming whip and hurts their ego. No matter what good intention is underlying . Sometimes you just want to cheer up and tell people: hey, we've all started, with the same problems and just practice and stay tuned. Progress can be planned. And that is so. The fact is also if you comment, several times and you notice that nothing comes back, you just leave it. That's the sad truth and I think there is a difference for criticism whether they are BR, BA etc. copies (there are clear parameters) or whether they are own creations , where a different approach is based .( Not only bushes, trees , mountains / other colors, other brushes , personal taste, implementation of the topic and details etc.)And if we are honest, we have all seen some things where you prefer not to write anything, because you don't know where to start..It would start with the basics. But the nice thing is and I appreciate that very much that this community has created contacts of private e-mail communication over a certain period of time where I can exchange ideas, we talk about the progress of the projects (updates), send pictures and get to know the people better and they me too. This goes far beyond painting. I am totally grateful for that
