Hi all,
I know this post isn’t about art directly, but indirectly it is. I started out learning from Bob Ross, then fine-tuned my landscapes with Bill Alexander, and eventually fell in love with the storytelling of Remington and Norman Rockwell.
But honestly, nothing has helped me grow more than the kindness, encouragement, and constructive feedback I’ve received right here on TIB. You’ve made this community a place where artists—of every level—can stretch, stumble, and get back up again with a little more confidence each time.
That spirit of support and growth gave me the courage to take a leap. Rez Life is my second book—but it’s the first one I’ve had the guts to fully illustrate myself, to tell stories through my own paintings. It’s the most personal thing I’ve ever created, and it wouldn’t have happened without this community.
Thank you for helping me believe I could do it. Truly.
Bob
