Hai everybody. Can someone tell me where to buy contactpaper? I can not find anything in local stores or online (I live in Holland).
Thank you very much for replying,
Greetings, Jacqueline

jacqueline72 Dear Jacqueline, the answer to your question can partially be found in the article section. Check the following one as an example:

To give you some extra help, I will reply in Dutch to you.

Contactpapier is gewoon zelfklevend papier.

Success and let us know if you found some!!

    Voy Kay

Dutch is so strange, which is odd, given that it is English's closest genetic relative. I think taking German in college doesn't help. I remember having a fellow student from Liège who said something similar, that German was ruining her Dutch.

Ian_Adkins Indeed Ian, quite some German words are equal to Dutch (can be confusing), yet German is a tough language due to the tsunami of exceptions, mostly grammar wise. Dutch is a lot easier, although English is the easiest!
German is the official 3rd language of my country, and that had its roots with WW I and WW II. It is my fifth language only and I rarely speak it annually.

Interesting fact as well is that my real first name is German yet spelled French! My mother (aged 20 when WW II was over) didn't like the French but for sure hated the Germans so spelled my name French! A Dutch option wasn't available.

I had two semesters of German in university. The first semester is deceptively easy, compared to the first semester of French. Then the second semester it feels like you've been thrown headlong into a grammatical combine-thresher. I have likened it to playing musical chairs with gendered articles. Conversely French gets easier. I've stuck with the French, but I still have at least tourist-level German. Bitte, wo liegen die Toiletten? 😆
