Hi there. I’m not sure if the admins see these forum posts, but I’m new to this website and painting in general. Today I submitted my first painting, where I was following one of Bob’s videos titled The Grandeur of Summer. However when I tried to upload it, there wasn’t an option among his painting for this one. I had to submit it as an original. Now, it was a special one hour long episode, so maybe that’s why it isn’t listed, but I was wondering if it could be added. Thanks.

    Yes, the database only includes (or at least only reveals) the paintings from the actual Joy of Painting TV program. Special episodes like Grandeur of Summer are not in there at this time. That said, I think a lot of folks just upload their versions as an original and mention what it is in the title/description. I hope that helps.

      I think I'll just add it as an additional episode to season 1 🤷

      I think there is almost a whole separate "season" of special episodes, though I can't find a complete list. I wonder if a "Specials" category at the end of the season list would be a sensible place to store them?

      Also, on a side note: the Wikipedia article for Joy of Painting links to TwoInchBrush...pretty cool!

        Perhaps the 3 hour workshop DVD? I’ve never found it available to stream though.

          I haven't seen any of these other than Grandeur of Summer, but the 10-disk box set is on sale right now. I can buy it if it will help the site.
