I would like to sincerely thank everybody for their help and support during this appeal. Queenscourt Hospice are very grateful for your contributions.

I found out last night that my late wife's best friend also has terminal cancer and will be supported by Queenscourt. Life is never straightforward is it?

I am sorry if my post sounds like an Agony Aunt's page but Queenscourt are really struggling with the lack of funds caused by Covid-19. The same as everywhere else in the world, despite what some people may believe.

As the event comes to an end, can I ask everybody to consider entering a picture into the Holiday Spirit event. Your work does not have to be purely seasonal as Queenscourt should be able to get donations all year round based on your work. The money raised will help terminally ill people tolerate better the little time they have with help from their families, Queenscourt and from your efforts.

Thank you.

    Hi Colin,

I'm happy that Queenscourt is liking our submissions!
The event is running for a good 6 weeks more, I'm sure we'll get some more entries closer to Christmas.

I'd still like to ask to keep submissions holiday themed.
I'll approach you and Queenscourt after the holidays to see if we can setup something more streamlined.

Felix Thank you Felix, I appreciate your help. My contacts at Queenscourt only volunteer on a part-time basis and only on a couple of days a week. I will be happy to pass you their details when you wanty them.

@Felix - Thinking about your intention to contact Queenscourt direct, I have no problem with you doing that. The contact details I have are as follows: jodie.lovelock@nhs.net who is the Deputy Area Retail Manager,
and Kate Tipton-Thomas who I only have a mobile number for.

If you have the time and inclination, I have no problem with you taking over the passing of the work immediately.

        Cheers

        Colin
