Of the two I'd probably say Old Country Mill is probably the more difficult of the two. Reason being that building is at an angle so a little harder to get the perspective correct. But I can't wait to see how yours turn out.

I agree with you Matt in that 4 of the paintings are really uninspiring. The challenge is to recreate them with more interest.

Tomi, why don't you do the challenge of doing all of those 4 other ones? Matt has also the same challenge for 2021. I did those also. Even tho some of them are so so, they offer an amazing learning and improvement (like you said) opportunity. Some of them have a tad more prep with gesso hence their unpopularity. I am officially challenging you my friend!

Happy you are accepting our (Matt started it) challenge! You will learn lots on doing paintings you may have not picked at this time! Can’t wait to see them all!
P.S. I was doing 1 from the list/week. I was always looking forward to go down the lists. Remember to do the 2021 challenge as well!

NTZArt I have painted all of them except for Nestled Cabin. I will paint it using yours and Matt’s for reference. (Not one of my favorites)

paintcrazy19 Matt was the one making this compilation. I am not sure how he did it. Going one by one to determine that would take a while to do. Maybe Felix could help us with this one. 
I messaged Matt earlier and when he comes back from vacations, he will make the list of the least painted of 2023.
