I know that this looks weird.. I edited the photo from my phone so its not perfect..but by placing dots and a(crooked) grid helped me transfer the image free hand and i was able to place the eyes and ears and mouth properly to make it look like they were in the correct position. And I used a black and white image to help me with the different shades.( Thanks to Sunnylady's trick to help with that)
I was amazed at how well it all turned out.
This is a fantastic approach on painting faces and animals! Great idea.
