Woodgrain View

Because Bob uses also a small part of the canvas for the main image, I thought this is a good one for a small canvas: on canvasboard 13x18 cm and skipped the woodeffect and everything outside the border of the contactpaper, that I also left out. Actually I wanted to test how long this not too difficult painting would take (at least an hour) and maybe can be used for a Xmas card, stt, don't tell anybody, it's our secret, haha, would Bob say. Put some red also in the water, difficult to make the coasts not to straight.
Because the canvas is very small, the picture is a real close-up, hope you will be mercyful when watching this, every 'wrong' stroke is visible.

I love it! Very beautiful and would make a lovely card!

Your mountains are super, no matter size of the canvas! Great painting! Brush strokes create impressionistic effect and it is more artistic. Don’t worry about them. Treat them as a proof it is painted and not photographed.

Thanks Sandy and I think you are right Sunnylady, thank you!
