High Chateau

Doing the shingled room was a lot of fun. Definitely different doing this sky dry with no liquid white. It made doing clouds a heck of a lot easier.

Voy Kay Conqueror of Challenges

Great work! This creation from Bob really looks challenging!

Voy Kay, it’s not bad if your good at layering planes and using mist to do so. That and being able to do tappy grass as there’s a lot of that in the painting.

It's mostly the amount of grass that worries me here, else I would've given that one already a try!
I need more practice first before I will begin challenging ones!

Voy Kay, that's totally fair, although this painting would certainly give you a lot of practice at it. I probably would have shied away from doing this one if I didn't get a damn good lesson from Dana Jester on how to easily do tappy grass. It's all in how you load the brush and where you grip the brush when tapping, at least for me.

I like Dana a lot, excellent painter!
Hmm, maybe I might give this a try, thanks so much for the advice, hear/see you soon!
