At Dawn's Light

joha59 29 Dec 2021

It took a long time before I had the 'courage' to try this painting. I like the colors in the sky and the water, but it is hard to paint trees and bushes that are all white. The mix of tit. white and liquid clear Bob uses was after a quick try replaced by a mix of tit. white and liquid white to prevent a complete Mudcity. Added a little bit of snow on the dark evergreen. On canvasboard 30 x 24 cm.

Thanks Matt and Voy, no not an easy one, but the effort more then worth, Added second picture with better colors, first picture was taken when it was almost dark outside.
