This was the first Steve Ross painting I've done, and it was interesting, and also useful, to hear another set of tips and instructions. His description of how to get a small roll of paint on the knife was helpful, for example (pull the knife straight back toward you vs his father's more diagonal swipe back).

A lot of Steve's paintings are really worth to try. I think he has painted 13 in total.
Dark bush colour really suits here, better then the yellow original.
