This is a cool scene and I think that I haven’t tried to paint it until now because it’s hard to tell what the entire painting looks like from the cropped picture. All of that being said, I really enjoyed painting this one and am really happy with the clouds.

Your clouds and the central rock stand out in this creation. I can imagine this is a real challenging one!
Thanks Voy! You’re correct this one was a challenge and the most difficult part was the smooth flowing water, it was hard overcoming the brown laid onto the liquid clear. After it dries some I may return to it to brighten that water.

Great work on the rocks! My wife and I painted this one together for her first and I thought it was the hardest one I’ve done to date! Moving water I find to be difficult, and this one has it in spades! It’s a gorgeous scene, one I’d love to give another go.
