Winter's Grace

Sarah_Sorensen 15 Jan 2022

I tackled this one today. Oh man! SO many errors! Firstly, WAY too heavy on the liquid white....multiple areas are re-dos or covered over. I struggled with the evergreens..... I'm sure it will dry ok, (and I'm my harshest critic); but it is a very good exercise in values and depth.

We are for sure our own worst critics. I still have yet to like anything that I have painted. As for you, this is a very beautiful painting and you should be proud of what you accomplished. As for the liquid white, when in doubt, use a paper towel to wipe off the access. "What remains will be just right." - Bob Ross

This is a very nice Interpretation. Great work 😎👍🏼
