Winter in Pastel

This was a fun one. I tried a couple new brushes, an angled 2 inch that worked great for snow.

Nice little subtle painting here. I like it, especially the background trees. Good balance of clarity versus distance.

I've tried angled brushes, too...a 1 and a 1 1/2-inch brush. Jury's still out for me on how they work. I thought I'd next try just using the tip for adding highlights to trees/bushes. Glad to know they worked for the snow, though. Very nice snow here as well.

Beautiful.

Great composition, I'm very fond of that sky!
