I got new watercolour paper and it's not as thick as the last batch. My acrylics are too thick for it. I find that when I use the palette knife to cut in the waterlines, it almost shreds the paper. 😬 But the paper does still make the colours pop when painted with black acrylic underneath. 😎

I like this one. It gives the impression to me that this scene is nestled against the foot of a mountain or cliffs. Very pretty

Thank you for that perspective Daniel. I didn't see it until you mentioned it, but the "sky" really does look more like a cliff edge or the base of a mountain. I like that a lot. Definitely a happy accident! 😃
