It has been way too long since I painted with Bob, over six months, and I felt very rusty. I painted this one alongside my wife, which was a special treat since we very rarely can do that. This one reminds us of coastal Maine, our favorite place to spend time together.
Seascape foam and wave shaping is a very subtle thing, and is a struggle for me. For some reason my wave shape looks strange to me too, and I got overzealous with my foam. Clouds not great here, but even with all that, we finished in just over four hours and I don’t mind the finished product. The rock on left was fun and the beach turned out surprisingly well. It’s great to be back!
