In Holland we have two very cold days, so this painting seems a good choice for me today. The painting used a very limited pallet of colors, black, blue, white, brown and crimson. On canvasboard 30 x 24 cm.

It was definitively to rework the roof of your cabin. It is perfect! I rework my stuff too when I am not happy with them. Oil painting is so awesome for that. So forgiving like Bob would say!
Nancy, according the rules of perspective, the upper line of the roof should go downwords, so it is probably not perfect. I never do rework afterwards, only during the painting proces.
Tho, this is an old cabin, the wooden structure has been put to the test over the years and contorted it somehow 😉. So it can’t be looking perfect.
I rework my stuff during and sometimes afterwards.
