I think your mountain highlights are nicely done. But I looked through your posts and it looks like you might be using too much liquid white to coat your canvas. Overall I think your technique is actually good, but I think you're fighting against an overly wet canvas and that's giving you trouble. All you really need is the thinnest possible film of liquid white coating every nook and cranny. So you really have to use a small amount and scrub it into the weave of the canvas, spreading it nice and thin.
