This one was a housewarming/Christmas present... Very similar to the one I did as a Pride Month fundraiser, but with a few changes specifically for this request...
-The cabin is replaced by the house that this will be hanging in
-The lower-right foreground elements omitted to allow more colors to show in the water reflections
I also messed up the background trees at the base of the mountain, but as Bob says, we can fix anything... A couple of 2" brush strokes upward and boom, they just look a little farther back! Kinda prefer it now honestly.
Everyone seems to want one of these aurora borealis paintings when I ask what they want for a gift...
"What kind of painting do you want?"
"Aurora borealis!"
"What color?"
"ALL OF THEM!!!"

I'm sure the gift will be well received, lovely painting. Sadly I've not had the chance to view the Northern lights first hand, maybe a trip to Iceland is needed 🤔
