I had not painted in a long time and I think this one just looks too dark for me. Not one of my favorites. I did enjoy doing the clouds though.

Yes this is quite a dark one. I have seen the book version of this too, it is even darker. I agree with you, the clouds are very nice and give the painting a bit life.
