Meadow Lake

joha59 20 Jan 2023

It seems Bob is changing his mind during this painting; first he sets up the foreground for grass, but later he decides to add a pond, which causes the gorgeous effect of green and blue in the water. Difficult for me were the bushes he rushes in, I am still afraid of using the, for me, big 1-inch brush and using a lot of paint, I don't want to visit Mudcity. On stretched canvas 40x 30 cm. On the first impression some of Bobs' paintings seems the same but always there is something different.

Great work Jos. Your mountains are really superb. And yes highlights need a lot of paint, sometimes it is really sad to see the paint go away.

Amazing mountains.

Just beautiful!

Beautiful Jos!!! I totally dig the water effects you are talking about! I looks see through. So pretty! Great mountains!

that water effect is really cool, now I want to try it!

Fantastic mountains, and I agree that the grass turning into water made some very nice effects in your painting!

Thank you Pietro, Matt and Pam!
