"Waterfall in the Woods"

Wanted to try this one because of the contrasting colours: purples and greens.
At some point I scraped most of the left side off the painting because I wasn't liking where it was going. I feared it might be visible afterwards, but it is not!
I liked making those rocks with the knife. It give them such a nice rough look.
Why do the paintings look less colourful on my PC than on my phone...
The real painting has brighter greens and yellows.
So difficult to get a good representative photograph of a painting.

Really great job! love the waterfall and the reflection of it! You really captured the mood of this painting! the depth with that grey part of the woods is excellent.
