Forest River

I decided to do a painting on all five sides of this wooden trunk. This is the second side. Quite fun and as I said after doing the first one it is much different painting on a hard surface. It takes a much lighter touch with the brush.

This is awesome Brian! First, nice job on the painting! I painted once on a wood panel and you are correct about the pressure of the brushes. I love the idea of painting different scenes on all sides/top of the box! Will be a terrific piece when done.

Thanks Jos!

Thank you so much Pam! Good to see you’re back my friend.

So beautiful Brian and will be spectacular when done!

Thank you Sandy!

Really nice

Thank you so much Coldethel!

Once again, this is so damn cool. How hard was it to tape off the metal handle? It seems like it could be a little awkward to work around. Well done, I can't wait to see the rest of the sides as you complete them!

Thanks again Jeff! I removed the handle and painted it, then reinstalled the handle.

What a great idea and beautifully executed!

Thank you Barbara!

Brian, I have been admiring your work on this trunk :) how creative! Thinking outside the box. No pun on that :) your paintings look great on it. I haven’t thought about painting on something other than canvas. What a great idea. Opens up lots of possibilities

Thank you Daniel! I got this box from hobby lobby and as I recall it was not expensive. Maybe $150 USD.
