I am still working on better liner brush trees and getting the fan brush pine trees to look right. There has to be a trick of the wrist or something I am missing with making the left and right sides of the trees look right. The tops are starting better, but the ends of the don't hang down correctly as the tree widens.
That said, I still like the painting.

I watched a Nick Hanson video and finally understood pine trees. The Youtube episode is Misty Falls or something like that.
The colors are in this painting are great!
Beautiful vibrant colors and your perspective + lay of the land are spot on. I am still struggling a lot with my evergreens. Yours already look very nice!
