Christmas Eve Snow

Cronenberg89 22 May 2023

This is on a recycled canvas and you may be able to see some of the original painting beneath this one. Lots of fun to do, I enjoyed the mountains the most and while I was there I found a cave because the old miner that stays there left his fire burning to head down to church. It’s alright there’s nothing to catch fire on this cold Christmas Eve!

Thanks Dirk!

Nice, I like theat idea with the cave!

Thanks Tom! I don’t know, I think that I screwed up scale of the mountains with the fire at the cave and now they look like small rock formation?

This is so great I love it. And no it do make your mountains small ... Them is old timbers that miner stacked up to direct St. Nick to the remote village.

Thanks Sherina! And I’ll buy that!

Super B! I love the fire in the cave! Great detail!

In order not to see the paint texture of on the recycle canvas, sandpaper it first where you can feel that texture under your finger. Then, gesso it. You probably knew that already, but I figured it could be worth sharing. 😊

Thanks N! I sometimes get lazy and say that’s good enough and “ I will hide it in the bushes “ lol!!
